When was the last time you said "thank you" to a teacher? Not just for submitting a report on time or staying late or giving a good grade. How about simply for being who they are and doing what they do?
There are a million or more reasons for us to thank a teacher every day. So many hats are worn by them, and they perform lists of duties in a day that would leave many of us struggling for air.
They care on a level matched only by a willingness to step aside and let learners struggle, fall, get back up and become who they were meant to be. Above all, they are facilitators of learning and guides in the discovery of our true potential and power. In spite of all this, teaching can sometimes be a relatively thankless job.
Today, we'd like to change that by sending out a gratitude message of our own with the shareable infographic below. We call it "A Thank-You Letter to All Teachers." We want to thank a teacher in every part of the world, including the ones we work with every day.
No matter where you live and work, teachers share the same struggles and triumphs in so many respects. The passion for teaching and learning is universal. It's a common language that binds cultures, beliefs, and attitudes under one huge umbrella of love.
Every teacher, regardless of where they are in the world, loves to watch their learners succeed and grow in the ways that are best for them as individuals. After all, it's one of the many reasons they chose teaching in the first placeāor maybe even that teaching chose them.
Don't delay and don't put it off. Go out and thank a teacher today, even if you don't know them. They may not remember who you are, but they'll never forget how you made them feel.
